Launch Desk terms of service

Launch Desk is a Shopify app operated by NoveltySoft Private Limited (“we”, “us”). It helps stores prepare product listings, product images, style images, social captions, product videos and Instagram posts. These terms apply to every store that installs Launch Desk (“you”) and to the people you let use it. By installing or using Launch Desk you agree to them. Questions: support@onboardsoft.com.

1. The service

Launch Desk reads the product information and photos you give it, prepares listings, images, captions and videos with the help of automated and AI tools, and, when you choose, creates products in your Shopify store and posts to the Instagram account you connect. Features depend on your plan. We may improve, change or retire features; when a change takes away something you rely on, we will tell you in the app first where we reasonably can.

2. Your account and your store

• You install Launch Desk from Shopify and sign in with your Shopify account. You are responsible for who you give access to (owners and staff) and for what they do in the app.
• You must be allowed to run the store and to act for the business that owns it.
• Launch Desk only changes your store when you ask it to (for example, uploading a batch of products). Review what it prepares before you publish it.

3. Plans, billing and credits

• Plans, their monthly allowances and the price of extras are shown in Plan & billing and on the Shopify App Store listing. Charges are billed by Shopify on your Shopify invoice, under Shopify's billing terms.
• Extras beyond your plan are charged only if you allow them, up to the monthly limit you set. Credit packs you add are charged on your next Shopify bill and are used for extras before anything else.
• Allowances reset each month and unused allowances don't carry over. Credit doesn't expire while your store keeps Launch Desk installed; it isn't refundable or transferable except where the law requires.
• AI services can decline to make an image or video (for example, for a protected character or brand). Declined requests aren't charged to your allowance.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice in the app; new prices apply from your next billing period.

4. Your content and your rights to it

“Your content” is what you add to Launch Desk: product information, photos, spreadsheets, logos, scene images, videos, avatar photos and settings. You keep all rights to it. You give us permission to store, process and send it to the services in section 7, only to provide Launch Desk to you.

You confirm that:

• you have the right to use your content, and to sell the products you list, including product photos and details from the suppliers you approve in the app;
• any logo, brand or character shown in your content may be used by you (for example, as an authorised reseller);
• a photo used to make an avatar is of you, or of an adult who has given you permission, as you confirm in the app.

5. Content Launch Desk makes for you

• Listing copy, images, captions, video prompts, videos and avatar images made for you are yours to use for your store and its marketing, as far as the law allows. AI-made content may not be protected by copyright, and similar content may be made for others.
• AI can make mistakes. Check every listing, price, description, image and video before you publish it. You are responsible for what you publish, including product claims, prices and compliance with the laws and platform rules that apply to your store.
• Launch Desk places your real product photo on scenes and never asks the image AI to redraw your product in style images. Videos are made from your style image and may move or light it; review them before posting.
• Avatar images and videos show AI-made people. Label them as AI where the law or the platform requires it.

6. Acceptable use

Don't use Launch Desk to:

• list or promote counterfeit, illegal or restricted products, or products you aren't allowed to sell;
• copy content from websites you aren't authorised to use, or infringe anyone's trademarks, copyright or likeness;
• make misleading, hateful, sexual, violent or otherwise harmful content, or content showing a real person without their consent;
• get around a refusal from an AI service, the app's limits or its security, or overload it;
• resell or share access to Launch Desk outside your business.

We may pause or end access when these terms are broken, after telling you where we reasonably can.

7. Other services

Launch Desk works with Shopify, Instagram (Meta) and AI service providers listed in our privacy policy. Their own terms apply when you use them through Launch Desk, and we aren't responsible for their availability or for changes they make. Instagram posting needs an Instagram professional account that you connect and can disconnect at any time.

8. Privacy

How we handle information is described in our privacy policy, which is part of these terms. Launch Desk doesn't access your customers or your orders.

9. Availability and support

We work to keep Launch Desk available and your data backed up, but we don't promise it will always be available or free of errors. Some work, like videos, runs in the background and can take a few minutes. For help, write to support@onboardsoft.com.

10. Ending use

• You can stop using Launch Desk at any time by uninstalling it from your Shopify admin. Charges already made by Shopify for the current period aren't refunded except where the law requires.
• When you uninstall, your sign-ins end. Shopify asks us to erase a store's data 48 hours after it uninstalls, and we then delete your business, its batches, products, posts and files from Launch Desk. Products already created in your store stay in your store.
• We may end the service with at least 30 days' notice, or straight away if the law or a serious breach of these terms requires it.

11. Liability

Launch Desk is provided “as is”. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost sales, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim about Launch Desk is limited to what you paid us for it in the 3 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will show the new date here, and tell you in the app about important changes at least 30 days before they apply. Using Launch Desk after that means you accept the updated terms.

13. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the place where NoveltySoft Private Limited is registered. If any part of them can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
